This wine unbelievable thought for sure it would have been past its due date however ...still fresh, good complexity, great fruit and lengthly finish...Very pleasant surprise!

Drinking much better than the last few bottles consumed over the last couple of years. Showing its age in a nice way but the fruit was more pronounced than prior bottles. Any stewy flavors are gone and red fruits and very subtle tannins persist.

Au contriare! This wine is actually pretty good, considering the age, Steve Lessard's careful hand is clearly at the wheel. The nose is actually quite Napa in style, stemmy yes, but with present and clear berries as well. Old-world sense. Floral notes through the mid-palate. Finish is tough, maybe a bit too much oak. The drinking window on this is between 15-60 minutes after opening. Enjoy.

Opened, decanted, drank over a 3 hour period. Quite harsh right out of the gate. The nose was actually very nice though....lots of dark fruits and spice. But the palate was very green and stemmy tasting....they may have picked the grapes too early. Medium bodied, very acidic, still some tannins. It mellowed out a little bit over time, so that it was drinkable, but I wouldn't call it much better than good. It was very good when it was young, but I doubt it will improve with time, but heck, I don't think time will hurt it much either.
