  • Picked this up last fall, unknown (to me) producer but excellent year, good importer and good value appellation.
Really nice, pretty classic southern rhone right from the get go. Was good upon opening, and filled in a bit over a couple hours. Nice body and texture, had the whole garrigue and saddle leather thing going. Went great with roast chicken. This seems like it must be pretty much at peak now, at least for me Would love to have more of it.

  • Medium to dark red coloring. Typical South Rhone flavor profile, except something just a little bit odd on the front end when this wine was first opened. Settled down after an hour or so and became an enjoyable wine. Would purchase again.
