Nice and well integrated. Holding up well, with cherry and minerals. Easy drinker, only negative was it gave slight alcohol burn. Shame it has 14.4 alc. lower would have won my heart. I enjoyed it with pepperoni pizza and kids.

16th Annual Lyon 10 Year Retrospective (Same Old Place): Immediately bigger and more obvious than the previous wine (Burg). Dark cherry fruit and a wet stone note, along w/ lingering tannins stood out from the crowd. 88 on day 2.

Vivid brick red. A pinot of beautiful richness and depth opening with black cherries and plums followed by earth, and black peppercorns. Velvety rich, round and elegantly smooth on the palate finishing ethereally and with great length. Grows with every sip, gaining more depth and more character, and drinking at its best right now.
