Give this one an hour plus decant. On open, nose is a mix of plum, leather, mushroom, funk. Mousey. Palate was pretty sour on opening but balances out with some air. Somewhat muted with a short finish. Won't improve with any more time to my taste - drink up if you're still holding.
Much of the mouse blows off after an hour, revealing a nice little mature Bordeaux.

I opened this with zero expectations based on prior reviews. So low I paired it with a turkey meatloaf sandwich with Branston Pickle. I expected it to be undrinkable
But after some initial funk blew off a delicious wine presented itself. Not a 90 for sure. You could quibble that my 88 is generous but if you have any left don’t let the early reviews scare you away.

Similar to cuvee no. 1, few aromatic elements, more prominent fruit, not quite as good.
