  • Still kicking. Strawberries and standard Pinot accents. Delish.

  • Tasted at the Denver offline on 1/18/03.

13% alcohol, this was the fourth wine tasted out of nine. Decanted for approximately two hours at time of tasting.

Light to medium red to the rim. On the nose, this wine smelled of fresh cherries, sweet spice, caramel and undertones of plum. One taster noted vanilla. Very fragrant and intense.

On the palate, this wine tasted of cherry juice, caramel, pine and oak. Medium to full bodied. A relatively long, spicy finish, this wine was very well balanced.

The group rating on this was number two of nine. On my card, I rated it number six because I thought it was too sweet (though I am not sure how much, if any, is because of RS). Mrs. mbansek rated it number two.
