  This was a beautiful barolo, PnP, pale garnet colour, medium bodied, medium+ acidity, dark cherries, plum, menthol, tobacco, fine and nicely integrated tannins, a well balanced wine and open for business. It got exponentially better as it warmed up and gained air in the glass.

  Served blind, easily identified as Nebbiolo from Barolo. This wasn't decanted. Massive tannic structure, with high acidity, it couldn't have been anything else other than Nebbiolo. We couldn't spend too much time with this bottle, unfortunately. Especially without the decant, for me, it never truly came around.
