Liked this one better than the last. Much more chablis like with steely clean flavors of lime, wet stone and salt. On the palate, green apple, lemon and minerals. Short, tart (but refreshing) finish. Sorry to see you go, Wes!

I took this bottle to a Steak and Seafood house to share with good friends. The wine was delightful on it's own and even better with the jumbo lump crab, oysters, and bbq shrimp. I admire the restraint with this wine and unlike many stainless chardonnays in the market place, the fact that this wine did go through malolactic fermentation was a plus for my palate. I like the rounder mouthfeel that results.

Clear, medium gold color. Aromas of lemon meringue, wet stone, honeydew, pine oil, oyster shell. Full and rich on the palate, big citrus notes- lime and orange, with hints of sandalwood with clove & tea leaf spice. Medium+ acid, full and fleshy texture. Dense mid-palate. Full blustery finish. Feels a little loose, but the acid and structure are there. Drinking well.

I thought this wine was exceptional and has really come into its own. Very focused, clean, big classic Chardonnay flavors. The absence of oak may be off-putting to those who are not used to such wines — and I do like oaky Chards — but IMHO there's no denying the quality of this wine.

Citrus and stone on the nose and palate. Creamy, yeasty finish. Simple and one dimensional.
