  This wine definetly improved hugely on day 2, too much on day 1....please open it the day before and enjoy it next day.

  Lovely blend, however, open it the day before since it needs a long decant to settle into a more silky juicy. Full body with a linguering finish, but decant or airate for a 3-4 hours before drinking.

  Filtered and decanted for 1 hour, then rebottled with the "shake." Well rounded, soft and approachable, great combination of power and finesse. It outshined the 2011 Carnival of Love that was treated similarly. Beautiful color and fruit mingled with a long, smooth finish. Drinking well now and should continue to do so for a few more years. I don't see this wine getting much better, unless the brown profile fits your palate.

  Still dark garnet and opaque. Medium-full bodied, with some finesse and elegance rather than just raw power and concentration. Very open, sweet, complex nose of dark berries and fruits, but with some softness. Seems fully mature, but no doubt it will last at least five more years. Tasted with 2012 Carnival of Love, more contrasted, which we preferred slightly.
