I opened this bottle due to Walter Speller's very absorbing essay on the Nebbiolo wines of the Colli Tortonese. (Yeah, I know this is a white wine, but I could get to it easily. The reds from this region are fairly deep in the cellar.) Anyway, this was one fine bottle. Fresh, deep, lively. No apparent tricks to compromise the delivery of the grapes. Would definitely look for more of this, especially at the price paid.

Bready fruity balanced and yummy! Creamy lemon undertones support the whole thing. As it aired out it gained in depth and roundness. Mineral, acids, fruit - a nice package.
Apologies to those who have been keeping this a secret (all you garigistes know who you are...) but its time to begin spreading the word!

Tried this bottle from curiosity about the grape variety. Very clean, with up front hit of tart fruit. Light color, more tinge of yellow than any color dpeth. Light body. Did not develop in the glass. Would recommend this with medium rich food, since it is a bit austere for aperitif.
