Clear green, lemon apple notes med acid, med bod., some redux; nice but quite simple and bit thin compared to the others. My lowest scoring of the 13. 0 votes from the group. DD, Capital Seafood BH

This was a very pleasant surprise, more than exceeding expectations for a pretty average year in general for William Fèvre. It possesses a delightfully delicate fresh nose of lemon and lime with a touch of the sea. The palate has a perfect balance, and the depth and complexity are worthy of its Grand Cru status. Other reviews don't always hold this view, but I think the 3 hours of decanting tipped the balance. Likewise the finish is first rate with clean citrus and oyster shell notes and great length and balance. 94+

Emirates flight. While I am not a big fan of the 2011 Chablis vintage, this was nice and in my eyes better than a recent 2011 Fevre Les Clos and also better than the 2011 Fevre Valmur a few years back. Lemon yellow in the glass. Somewhat restrained but very balanced on the nose. Good Grand Cru density on the palate. Not a wow wine by any means but just like the nose, a very well balanced palate with citrus and white fruit, just a touch of oak and ending in a long finish. 92-93
