Nose is anise and strawberry with a hint of spice. Flavour starts with fruit but quickly coats the mouth with thyme and anise. Full bodied and tannic, a bit chewy without without food. It should mellow out with time. I would wait a couple years.

The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It tastes like oak, cedar and toast. The body is full. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

Family vacation - did the Costco stop to supply the vacation home. 2010 Bordeaux for $11? What the heck, why not? Never heard of it before. But I'd definitely buy it again.
Restrained but present fruits, soft finish, nice with the Costco strip steaks. Uncomplicated but not one dimensional.

Had at Kats bday, full bodied, heavier red. No tannens. Smooth finish.
