Screwcap. Opened 1 hour in advance. Aromas of dark cherry fruit. Forward red fruit flavors, with a pleasant acid bite. Full sour cherry finish.
Very well made, excellent structure, varietally correct. Lacking in character when compared to the better Loire producers, and suffers on price comparisons with them as well (although by Long Island standards it's a very good value in the low to mid 20's).

Garnet color and much lighter texture than expected. Ripe, tart cherry flavor and a smooth finish. Much easier on the palate than a typical Cab Franc.
