Northern Willamette Valley: This one's quite a bit more fruit forward and exuberant than the other 2011s in the cellar. The palate is thick, lush, and creamy. Thick and pretty non descriptor finish. A very odd experience... the 2011's at Adelsheim were all quite lean wines, yet this felt like an extraction monster. I suppose it could be site related, but it seems interesting that one of the most expensive wines in the collection is a completely different style than the others in thee vintage.

Most, if not all, of the fruit is gone from this one. A touch bitter as well.
