Been waiting f long time to drink this to see how it ages. Aromas of macadamia nut, mineral, pie crust dried lemon. Flavors of lemon pie, mineral, nut, and lime. Ends with a 20-25 second finish with mineral and nut notes. Like a fine white burgundy. Ages well.

Lovely mid gold colour, nose of peach, apricot, ripe pear, nectarine, honeysuckle, blossom, honey, vanilla, smoke, orange peel & orange zest. Good acidity, medium body. To taste more orange zest, orange peel, apricot, peach, grapefruit, ripe pear, blossom, toast, smoke, honey & nuts. Long finish. Lovely range of flavours and balance. Good intensity. Still plenty of time in hand. Excellent!

Pop and pour, the nose and color were vibrant, but the palate was muted. Not unpleasant, just a bit meh, especially compared to the nose. Day 2 (recorked in the fridge), the palate has caught up. A dumb phase, or maybe just a little too rattled from the drive for Thanksgiving. In either case, no need to rush. I have a few left and wouldn't stress over leaving one for another 3 or 4 years.

Long in tooth. Very golden, some poor oxidation aromatics, but flavors were good and integrated. Slight caramelization.
