Medium straw in the glass. Nose of pear, green apple, and lemon peel. Bright, crisp, and focused with light yeasty notes. Loads of tiny bubbles that dance across your palate leaving soft nuttiness in their wake. Zippy and refreshing, this champagne is a winner! Paired with king crab legs, pan seared ribeye, and sautéed vegetables.

Light lemon yellow and lively bubbles. Layered nose with green apples, brioche honeysuckle and crushed gravel. Medium acidity (6.5/10) and medium bodied. Lots of green apples and minerality. Long finish. Drink till 2024.

Tasted as part of a Peter Paul Wines sit down tasting. The champagne is a Grand Cru Cuvee produced in France by Lallier specifically for Peter Paul Wines. It is a blend of 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay. The nose was slightly muted but the palate provided wonderful hints of green apple and apricot. A very enjoyable glass of bubbles overall.
