This is rewarding patience of cellaring a cooler season Napa Cab. Requiring 1+ hour of air to help resolve still-firm tannins, this opened up quite nicely and seems to be in a good drinking window now with no signs of fading for years to come. Vacu-vined and refrigerated half the bottle for a few days, and it was still drinking great, if not better than than the first night. Paired well with Flannery 84-day aged NY strips on the first night and grilled Flannery burgers on the last night.

Drinking well. 2011 Howell mountain fruit is haniging in well. Drank for Tims birthday.

Opened and decanted over an hour before enjoying with a cowboy cut ribeye. Flavor and finish were as expected for a quality cab from Howell Mountain.
