From 75cl. Very dry, pure and almost expressionless, this is – even by new-wave Cava standards – a white wall/green screen kind of wine. It doesn't actually taste of anything, but that can, of course be an advantage, considering how reprehensible many 10 EUR sparklers taste... 86P(?)

From 75cl, v. good layered champagne cork. Rather basic, bone-dry Cava with a slightly soapy and impure mid-palate and no particularly remarkable (or identifiable) taste characteristics. Whatever "Robert Parker" had in her or his glass which merited a 91P Wine Advocate score, I don't think it can have been this stuff. But maybe the problem isn't the wine... perhaps this is simply what happens when a meticulous perfectionist passes the baton on to a "team of experts"... 83-84P
