  Golden. Good mousse still. Citrus nose in the mandarin/orange spectrum. Tasting quite young but with a mandarin/orange peel oxidative edge that indicates quite mature champagne. Got better with airing. Probably a drink up proposition.

  Light golden - surprisingly light for the age. The mousse is somewhat subdued due to the age, but still a vital factor in the wine as a whole. Aromatics with fresh yellow apples, digestive biscuits and some citrus. Decent length. Excellent wine that has not given in to the otherwise dominant 2004 acidity.

  No notes at the time. I was very happy with this. I doubt that this will improve (depending on how you like your wines) but it should hold for a few more years yet.
