A wine very much in the Sean Thackery Les Pliades style -- seems to be a field blend, Syrah/Grenache/Mourvedre/Whatever was there. Quite good: extremely dark, fragrant with a nose perhaps a tad dominated by blueberries, but really enjoyable. Drinking well now.

On the pull, This is the best Sans Liege offering I could find locally, the website still shows magnum only this is 750ml...multi vintage where 20% is 2011 that sees 34 months in oak, you get some real barrel flavors on the palate, will probably have a go at the 2012 The Offering soon....
5+ hr slow ox, just popping with earth, muddy berries, waxy and round, the texture here is silky

I was expecting to kinda not like this wine, it had a sorta Game of Thrones vibe about it. Lots of verbiage on the label and a three vintage cuvee, but in fact, despite the high abv it was a meaty, rhoney wine in a very drinkable style, a cut above a cdr with bright rasberry/meaty style l like this. A little high in alcohol but very drinkable.
