  I enjoyed this wine along with a few other Barolos at an Italian dinner with friends. The other wines were from different producers, but single vineyard wines from 1995 and 2005. This was my favorite wine of the night among them all. The tannins were really well integrated by now, and the fruit was still very vibrant. The color was slightly bricked, and I think there are still many years of life left in the rest of the bottles I have. Glad to be able to enjoy them in the future!

  Rusty burgundy color. Nose and palate of tea leaves. Medium finish.

  Actually 2010 vintage. Aged very well. Crimson color with rust tints. Flavors of chocolate, tea and mint with soft tannins after one hour decant. Long finish. Nose is muted.
