Chatto Isle - The First Decade (Chatto / Fat Pig Farm): Had the most reticent nose and lowest ABV, but the fruit is still there and appearing fresh. The subtlety of it grew on me over lunch. Time to drink if you’re holding any.

My last bottle unfortunately and as good as my others. Fine boned and spicy, sour cherries, a little oak and great length. Wish I had a little more as I think this would be even better with another couple of years.

Gee this is a good Pinot, feels effortless and pristine, yet complex and truely interesting. Pretty light on its feet, a flavour spectrum taking in spices and cherries, with some undergrowth and mushroom notes as well. So well balanced and everything well integrated, it is a perfect food wine. Delicious now, perhaps better in a few more years but pretty sure my last bottle won't get that far.

Terrific pinot. Strikes a really great balance between elegance and opulence. I knew this was probably going to be too young (and it was) but can see this being something special down the track. Nonetheless, it was very good now after a few hours of air.
