Deep yellow in glass. Rich and intense on opening: citrus/lemon, pineapple, hints of yellow stone fruit, mineral. Popping with acid core to go with fruit. Airtime brought acidity into better balance and pineapple receded resulting in less power but more grace and subtlety. I think it has improved considerably in four years--time flies!--since last bottle, and was impressed with how much life it had. Very enjoyable with grilled albacore tuna, greens and alone.

Nicely developed and drinking well. Full and beautiful, wet stones, vanilla, light honey, and I must say it, kiwi, pop on the nose. The mouth shows soft butterscotch and classy medium acid. First Kumeu for me and I'm glad I have more.
