Dry Riesling on the rooftop (logan square, Chicago IL): The nose is balanced and rounded, filled with tones of quince, peaches, red apple, pears, spice notes, nectarines, mineral notes, smoke, oils, and limes. The Medium bodied feel is balanced and with refreshing, high acidity. This is well balanced with good length, but it does lack a bit of depth. Its still absolutely delicious and I can certainly see this improving further with another 3+ years of age.

Firing on all cylinders on this evening. Juicy palate filling Meyer Lemon, wet slate, and a pretty herbal florality. Great feel with a clean yet lingering finish.

Rolling nose with ice, fruit and amaretto. Full bodied, balanced and correct poise. Quince, citrus, tarragon/beurre blanc. Lots of the amaretto on the finish. Wider than other Ayler wines. Crisps up and finishes with apples. Balanced.

Sehr schöner leicht restsüsser Sasr-Riesling mit beginnenden Reifenoten. Perfekt zum Hühn mit Lauch/Steinpilzen/Äpfeln. Hat noch Alterungspotential

Tasted after three 2016 Lauer GGs. Smoky, generous, round and open. Yellow fruit, minerality, herbs. Almost weightless, long and fine - lovely. 92-94
