  • Bought this from Nicks $20.
While in my opinnion Nicks has best selection of imported wines in Australia, this one wasn't great.
Ruby colour with hint of purpleness, not really concentrated. Nose of liqourice, dark fruits, hint of smoky meatiness, getting olives. On the palate, medium bodied, nice clean mouth feel, slightly spicy elements there, dark fruits, some cinnamon showing, cocoa. Nice dry finish. It is nice wine but not really worth the price considering you can get so many better wines for 20 dollar these days. If someone served me this, I would be happy to drink it. More like a short term drink, drink next 2 years.
