Similar to my TN on 11/28/2019 - gobs of sweet, honeyed fruit and botrytis. We're talking declassified auslese, for sure! But this time the acid was there. Not lots, but just enough to give the wine the right balance, especially with the mustard encrusted pork tenderloin. This wine appears to be in a wonderful plateau, contrary to my last TN. So, well stored bottles may last another 3-5 years.

Gorgeous golden color. Light honey and spices now dominate the nose over faint peach and lime. Super round, rich, creamy sweetness awaits on the palate. Considerable botrytis-like flavors dominate the very long, sweet finish. Delicious, if perhaps a bit lacking in acid. Drink up within the next year!

Opened for Thanksgiving before the reds. Quite youthful but balanced if not complex. Sweet and acid combine well together with apple and peach fruit. Has years to go.

Tart apple nose and sweet red berry fruit palate. Broad with limited complexity but enough juicy acidity to make for a luscious mouthful of goodness. Opened this German wine for good luck and now its 5-0 within 30 minutes. Unbelievable.

This won't win any awards for its mindblowing complexity, but a very nice German riesling. Some of the sweetness has mellowed, and some secondary smoky, stony components are emerging. Enough acidity to allow many more years of evolution. Paired well with an apple dominated dish.
