Vin i Nord Blind BYO; 4/30/2017-5/1/2017 (Tords house): Golden dark straw yellow. Shows aging signs. Palate and nose with ripe yellow apples. Some seashore notes. Acidity trumps the fruit. A bit too one-dimensional. Quiet and comfortable mousse. 80% PN 20% Chardo.

Gylden gul. Modne gule epler, sitrus. I munn veldig moden. Overmodne gule epler, sitrus. Fin fylde. Grei lengde. Flotte bobler. Vinen kommer seg ut over kvelden. Strammer seg litt opp.
Drukket over 3 døgn.

NR 07? Fasit 00

Color: straw yellow with pinpoint bubbles and a creamy mousse. Fabulous bouquet of fresh-cut underdone (you heard that right) bread dough, green apple, peaches and a little marzipan. Quite the delicious palate bursting with great acidity, honeysuckle, citrus, yeast and shortbread. Not sure there is the structure to improve from this point onward so enjoy now and over the next few years.

Same as my previous note, though in this bottle wine had plenty of acidity and resilience. I am not in love with this wine on its own, but it really came out well with the spicy chicken pasta dish we had for dinner.
