Clear, medium lemon. A nose of buttery oak, white nuts, citrus lemon, accompanied also by a touch of nectarine and vanilla on the palate. Medium acidity, medium body, medium finish. Rather heavy on the front-palate; this moved towards a lighter, cleaner lemony finish. Even so the acidity was a little lacking throughout. To me, this is a wine already approaching old age, which makes the heavy-handed oak treatment even more obvious. Nice enough for a casual drink. Do not hold.

Lynn Fritz: circus peanut to the nose. palate is knock out. oak is integrating, but still very present. wonderful structure. called out as a fruit forward style by Lynn. not too over the top on the fruit. shows a charming oak to the palate, not overdone, still present. plump fruit aromas. nice acid to the palate. popcorn notes jump out along side of this salad. 98% Quail Hill Chard.

Lovely citrusy floral smell - taste starts off buttery but then moves into citrusy sweeter flavors with a hint of minerality. Nice long finish. Tasted even better when allowed to open up a little. This is a different chardonnay that I would buy again.

Tasted at winery. Wine was ok - not as good as Laguna Ranch.

Lemon curd, papaya spear and stone. A medium finish and nice focus.
