Our first 100% Argentinian bonarda enjoyed at Bonterra in Charlotte courtesy of Tim Wallace of the Wine Vault. Good QPR wine. Inky black, full bodied, long aftertaste, very fruit forward, big mouthfeel and somewhat simple and monolithic - several at the table drew comparisons to young malbec and charbono wines. Enough tannins and stucture left for several more years of cellaring. Big dark almost juicy very fruit forward nose with a simple but delicious fruit forward flavor profile of oak, dark fruit and tobacco. Recommend this wine to lovers of big bold dark fruit forward wines.

- Garnet color. It's somewhat balanced with a medium body. Linear texture with a medium finish.
