  After 2h. Decent colour with a little brown at the rim but not much nose apart from a trace of 'tar' as it sat in the glass
  Very smooth on the palate but nothing really stood out. Fair fruit (largely cherry, but not sweet) and balanced acidity with perhaps some sour cherry/stones late on.
  OK for the (low) price but nothing special.
  However........ with lamb in a rosemary and redcurrant sauce, it improved substantially and made a decent partner. I feel I should revise my early score upwards a little.
  p.s. It didn't work with soft cheese (Cambazola).
