Champagne In My Backyard (mostly blind) (My House): Served bind. This seemed richer in style to me, more in the vein of 7-Up in taste, which I don't typically like to drink (that drink for sure, and wines that express that same essence). Pastry tart, candied apple, brown spice and apple pastry. Overall not my style.

I thought this was the Crouzet bottle like my previous one. I had clearly inventoried this wrong. This wasn't quite a regal as that previous bottle. Shows oxidation and cheesy pastry yeasty notes on the nose. Ripe apple palate with a mature expression. Some chalky grip. A good wine but only that.

Pop and pour. Nice contrast to the 12 Callot Avats. Not sure of disg info, but this has been sitting in my friend's cellar for a number of years. On the nose: lovely citrus and minerality, and very mineral driven. Fantastic acidity, and chalky but still showing some richness. Yum.

Giallo paglierino, incomincia a distendersi, frutta gialla e bianca, note gessose e sale, piaciuto.
