Nose of butterscotch and a sweeter gingerbread. Clove and almond as well. Toasted chestnuts mixed with Christmas cookie and butterscotch frosting. Baking spices as well. Delicious effort!! 93-94 points.
nose was a bit austere, otherwise I would have scored this much higher. delicious tropical fruits on the palate with some zesty acidity on the finish. would be interesting to see where this goes in 5 years

The wine is kind of tart. But it does have tropical fruits including pineapple. Just not to our liking.
