  • A lovely and delicate style of Pinot. Double decanted and let breathe for about 90 minutes. Excellent red fruit and some spicy characteristics. It could have a few more years of development, but why wait?

  • Similar to last note, and it's drinking well right now off the pop now.

Ruby to garnet color. Aromas of blue and black fruits, licorice, black tea, cedar, lemon, earth, light funk, and potpourri. Very nice. Light to medium body, medium acid and finish, with flavors of blueberry, plum, black cherry, lemon, black tea, and minerals. In a nice spot; probably drink the last in the nearish term (maybe 6 mos. to a year). 89-90

  • 1st of 4 for me. Seemed a little sharp and angular on the pop, so I let it hang out in the decanter for about an hour while our pork chops with orange avocado salsa were coming together, and that seemed to do the trick, as this came around to a pretty nice little pinot here. Medium ruby color with transparency. Aromas of cherry, black cherry, smoke, black tea, orange peel, lemon, anise, clove, leather, and wet slate. Light to medium body, medium (+) acid, medium finish, and flavors of high toned red fruits, lemon, orange peel, black tea, and spice. Solid wine and pairing. 90+

  • Initially acidic breakfast theme of orange peel, black tea, and day old coffee grounds, and then the fruit finally awakes after four hours to bright (but not attacking) pomegranate, red roses, and raspberry. While smooth, there's a slight tannic grip probably from the Wadenswil and 30% whole clusters. The oak imparts a nice mocha and herbal/spice quality (Omero says sandalwood). Good stuff and good qpr @ $24. And it's drinking well right, but needs a few hours of air.

  • Very nice pinot, full of black cherry and pomegranate fruit, with some underlying minerality. All 4 bottles were demolished. Excellent QPR for $23.
