Fine QPR. Fully ready to drink. A little one dimensional... On opening displayed too much "tartness". That settled down as the bottle was opened to reveal subtle apricot and peach and maybe a hint of citrus-lemon. Enough oak in the background. Nice (and last) bottle of this.

A surprise. I typically find mid-priced California chardonnays disappointingly one-dimensional. This one veered toward that on the first day. Pleasant but little depth. We drank half the bottle then gassed and fridged it for a couple of days until the next white-wine meal. The intervening open time really brought this around. Very well balanced, nicely rounded oak, a little light on the classic chard nose and fruit, but an excellent QPR.

A great Chardonnay! This blows away most of the big boy Chards in the $30 retail price points. Buy it if you can find it.

Very good. Smooth and not too sweet.

This is an impressive Mendocino Chardonnay for the $. The oak is there, but not overly intrusive, and there is a nice, ripe-fruited character overall.
