I love the wines from Rutherford. Try finding this textured mouthfeel, generally speaking, elsewhere. Dusty is the expression of the mouthfeel. Aromatics of berries with in mouth flavors of dark cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate sweetness. The wine is beautiful right now and I would not let this age too many more years.

Needs time to open and when it does it is a wonderful cab with Rutherford fruit. It still shows plenty of black berries and black cherries with dark mocha chocolate flavors. The famous Rutherford dust terroir is present, forest floor and minerality. Supported by a strong backbone of textured tannins with balanced acidity.

Cork splintered like the last note mentioned. Votes of berries and some mineralogy excellent taste would highly recommend drinking if ever someone has it or gets a chance to have it.

Still one of my favorites and nothing beats that Rutherford dust!!. Cork was in great shape - no challenges in extracting it.

best after being open for 6 hours, give this plenty of time. tannins still a bit rough and grainy, but still plenty of dark fruit
