  • A wonderful, not over-done CA cab. This has none of the "in your face" mess that most CA cab producers build their wines with. Also, oak is not overdone and has integrated well. Del Dotto is known from playing with oak "mixtures" and does tend to lean on wood heavily...not on this one. It's probably leaning more toward a French style, but the Earthiness isn't there. Maybe its more of an Italian style. Regardless, works well with tri tip and other foods and it's easy to drink.
