  • Not meant to be rated.

Hazy, medium, garnet to a surprisingly thin, watery rim.
Medium, fully developed nose of tangerine, bread dough, strawberry.
Dry, medium (+) acid, medium (-) tannin, medium alcohol (?), medium body, medium (+) flavour intensity, tangerine, dried apricot (odd given zero added sulfur), hay, strawberry (particularly brought out by acidic food). Medium length.

How can you rate this? Very much a natural wine, and at this stage of development very much a food wine as well. Drink now, will this improve? Who knows, and very much bottle dependent.

Would note that when drinking the second half of the bottle on day two, the whole thing seemed better integrated and the strawberry notes were far more vibrant.

    Cork.

  • Cloudy purple, but this is a natural unfiltered wine so no marks off for this! Lovely delicate strawberry nose. Soft red fruits coat the palate, fruits of the forrest, in a silky texture and a fresh long finish.
