Damn this is tasty! Nose of pear, lemon, marzipan/nuts, cultured butter/yogurt, honey, wax. Similar palate with mouth coating acidity. Long finish. Really strong showing of what Sonoma coast Chardonnay can do.

This is beginning to develop a honeyed quality with age, although the acids are still bright and vigorous. The nose has lots of tertiary aromas, roasted cumin, white pepper, with some underlying figgy fruit. Some ponderosa pine aromatics at the back as we move into the singing acid finish.

Shy nose of apple, pecans, and lemon rind. Dense dry rich salty fruit on the palate penetrated by filaments of acid, moving into a lingering clarifying finish.

Deep gold. Preserved lemons, nuts, white pepper on the nose, Rich honeyed fruit on the palate with a smooth dense mouth feel, a bright plucked string of acid at the back, aromatic bitter lift into a lingering acid finish. Coming into beautiful mature balance.

Herbal salt maple syrup nose with a hint of sweet oxidation. Unctuous palate with a fine acid tension moving into a redolent back note of California bay leaves. A lovely end of the evening wine. 50 + 17 + 17 + 8 = 92.
