this is #2 of 6 in cellar ---enjoyed it and would buy again ...came recommended by my Vintage Consultant at Roundhouse LCBO in Ontario and his tastes seem right on with mine.
Aromatic, leathery, rounding, leathery, dark currant, cedar/sandalwood, mushroom and pepper nose. Spiced and rounding, dark and resinous flavours with a long, rich finish. Reminds me of older vintages of Torres Cabernets. 4/5

This has just enough Cabernet Sauvignon character to remind you what you are drinking. That said, it's a bit thin and generic. Varietally labeled wines in Portugal seem to demand a price premium for some unknown reason. This wine is really not worth the ~7-8 euro.
