This seems to have fallen apart a bit, with a lemony acidity seeming to dominate the fruit. Cherry, cranberry, custard, lemons and Aussie bush. But that lemon acidity is too overwhelming and really distracts.

AFR magazine top 20 tasting (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Aromas of cherry, red berry, chocolate, coffee, spice, slight wet clay notes and touches of green herbs. In the mouth the wine has ripe fruit flavours but oddly a touch of tart acidity, it's juicy with chocolate and coffee, talc like tannic grip. Nothing wrong but not for me.
