  Much better than the previous bottle (see note below) so yes, the previous bottle may have been slightly off. Rich RRV flavor, smooth, balanced and enjoyable.

  Light cherry red in color, faintly translucent. Fragrant nose of moist earth and strawberries. Light, vibrant fruit, dances on the palate. Strawberry, cranberry, spice. Beautiful minerality. Fine tannins, lovely acidity, exquisite balance. Finishes long and bright with strawberry and earthy notes. What Burgundy would be with RRV fruit. Should drink well for 6 to 8 years more, perhaps longer.

  Still classic fruit on the nose although definitely some denser berries coming through. Intense leather and smoke flavors, not young but still lively. Could have lasted longer but drinks amazing
