Interesting. Quite aged, but not gone. Rabaja describes the general quality well, but 2 more years on while this bottle has the palate noted, the nose is very muted. Drank over three nights, and it actually improved a bit, gained clarity on the palate.

Quite advanced color of golden hay. Cool aromas of apple cider vinegar, dried apricots, Graham cracker and dried pine needles. Wonderful complexity in the nose. The palate is slightly sweet and reminiscent of bruised apples. Really nice finish of confections and golden apple. This wine get more and more complex.

Deep yellow. Light to medium oxidation shifts nose and palate signicantly, bringing a tawny character to 'nutty' element, and as combined with citrus, goes to aged lemon, light vanilla. Still well balanced, plenty of acid, but richer. Not the Carato, that is noted as age-worthy (see 2008), so I say drink up.

Light gold in glass. As others have said, rather shy on the nose. Great with our chickpea soup, though. Crisp and saline, with what seemed to be a touch of nutty oxidation to add richness. Clean finish. Would buy again. 13.5 abv.

Tim's I think. Musty, clearly older, and fairly polarizing for those not used to decaying white fruit. I liked it.
