From 75cl, perfect cork, opened but not decanted 2 hours. Spicy cinnamon/damson scent; the same with added raspberry and a lot of sparkling acidity on the medium-bodied entry. Light on the mid-palate (for a Priorat), carries its 15% alc with grace. I would have appreciated a bit more weight, ripeness, velvet-tannic embrace and dark-fruit substance, but that is a matter of taste. Slimline, good Priorat, dinking well now. 88-89P

From 75cl, v. good cork, decanted 30 minutes. This Priorat is rough 'n tumble: Gritty tannins, high acidity, sharp über-raspberry fruit, high (15%) alcohol. That made for good company with a creamy, garlic-laced lamb Stroganoff concoction, but you wouldn't want to encounter it on its own in a dark alley. Best 2 hours after opening, perhaps with seriously long decanting it would soften enough to become sort-of friendly. Good for several years to come. 89P

Yep, this hits the spot nicely. Very sumptuous and attractive wine. Packed with dark cherries and blackberry, balanced very well by some spice and acidtiy. Smooth mouthfeel, and velvety tannins. This is still pretty young. Opens up tremendously in the glass and drinking strong still the next day. It's far from the most complex or nuanced priorat, but is good value for the region (although better value can be had from neighbouring regions, e.g. Montsant). 15 % alcohol very nicely handled.

The 2012 has less oomph than the 2018. Still a good wine, but...

Very consistent and does not add much to hold.
