Dinner at Triple Crown (Chicago, IL): Been quite a while since I crossed paths with a bottle of this. Much more resolved, and the reduction is more dialled in with the age. Not complex, but readily drinkable entry-level white Burgundy. Seems like time has rounded off a lot of those sharp edges.

The slight sense of richness in the last bottle has turned up here as a little stolid and weighty in a slightly too much alcohol sort of way. Good cut and lots of positives, but a little clumsy following a PYCM 15. ***

Pale straw, fairly heavy green tinge. A slog(t sense of richness on the nose that’s more about mineralogy and cut lime. Fresh and minerally attack, some mid-palate padding and then lots of cut on the finish. Saline and grippy. ***

Light, zingy and back on form after a slightly stolid bottle. ***
