  Clean closure. Garnet with a pronounced clear rim. Muted nose but a very full expressive palate - more subtle than some vintages perhaps reflecting the reduced Grenache. Long finish and well resolved tannins. Good drinking window.

  My favorite wine bar in Barcelona was serving this by the glass. They opened it 2 days ago. Quite an interesting and unique CdP. The nose had garrigue, tapenade, raisin, and mushroom. The palate added notes of black pepper, and cassis. The palate is medium+ bodied with high acidity. Like others have said the high alcohol is very well integrated. Tannins are medium plus but well integrated and fine grained. Finish is medium+ in length. I’m not going to post a rating because it’s 2 days open and I didn’t try it earlier. If I were to rate it at this moment I’d give it 91 points. The fruit is a bit muted and it lacks the concentration of many of its peers and other Clos des Papes I’ve tried.

  Nez viande, fruits noirs. Expresif. En bouche, les tanins sont présents mais fort agréables. Tout en rondeur. Ampleur moyenne. Belle longueur. Malgré un grand Hermitage 1990 déguster avant, il fait très bonne figure

  Medium ruby, bordering on garnet. Black pepper and red cherry on the nose. Medium bodied and smooth on the front. This wine developes rather quickly, and needs no decanting. Really jammy. Notes of blackberry, red currant, and unripe plum. Oak on the finish, which is mildly tannic.

  Millésime difficile ; prêt à boire...meilleur sans bouffe ; délicat et gouleyant.
  Nez ouvert de framboise, de réglisse rouge, d'épices et de fines herbes, de garrigue, de galets ainsi qu'un soupçon de grillé/fumé...parfumé également. Souple, rond et fondu avec des tannins ultra fins. Fruité...mûr et sapide...saveur de kirsch. Long sur une pointe d'anis...une petite pointe amère. Aromatique et léger. 91+
