Dark red, very nearly opaque. Tight dark fruit and brown sugar nose, hints of earthiness and dried fig. Tasty dark fruit flavours and a medium finish. Not too rich and a bit tight. Needs some time.
They declare a lot of vintages. All but 02 in the last decade.

This had a slightly advanced color already of dark ruby, and was lighter in color than the '94 Vesuvio! Soft plum, warm, cooked red fruits of raspberry, rhubarb, and blackberry; butterscotch notes with an intriguing white pepper note after a while in glass. Quick finish, a bit clumsy, but by no means bad. Is already aging quicker than others, good for another 10 years? Vintage Port Tasting 2011-1963.

Comes across very LBV-ish. Light, sweet, highly approachable and so very pure. Not a long haul Port, although I'm in no position at this point to say whether this wine will last through the ages--the ages, alas, have not yet come. But why wait? Very good indeed.

Really more similar to decent LBV than vintage port
