4th Saturday Brown Bagger (Sue's): Double blind. On the riper side of the spectrum. Dark fruit and bouillon notes. Tannic, showing black fruit and subtle vanilla flavors. Would never have guessed this was franc.

4th Saturday Group (M/M thelostverse): Double blind. Aromas of dark fruit and brown sugar. Simple; tannic. Flavors of plum, dark fruit and vanilla. Adds a chocolate note as it it opens in the glass. Guessed Napa cab sauv. 86-87 pts.

Hints of earthiness with a nice cocoa finish. It had needed time in the cellar as the bottle I opened last July wasn't as enjoyable.
