Very different for a Marlborough Savvy. Nose of lemongrass, grapefruit, feijoa, minerality, green (feijoa skin, cut flax), ripe Granny Smith and peach. Palate introducing brilliant, bright citrus notes (lemon, lime, underripe orange), lychee, slight cashew, blueberry, Thai Basil and oaky undertones.
Plenty of acidity here, strong in the citrus department with a lingering, luxurious finish. Top stuff.

Gun smoke and oak initially dominate, but later notes of red apple, grass and lime also appear both on the nose and palate. The fruit is of good quality and the acidity has precision and energy, but unfortunately the wine gets slightly dominated by the oak notes.

By the glass at the BA lounge. Not the freshest of bottles Very grassy, light asparagus, on the nose, citrus undertone. Textbook Sauvignon blanc nose. Very citrusy, young on thepalate, probably no oak here in its elevage, firm acidity that could be a touch more polished. Pretty nice in its simplicity if we might say. 88

Pale yellow color. Nose is quite intense with characteristic aromas of gooseberries, nettles, green grass but also plenty of tropical fruit. Passion fruit, litchi fruit, vanilla, nuts and some crushed stones. Good depth and not at all as one-sided as many NZ SB can be.
Very young on the palate with high acidity, distinct tartness and a slender body. Medium+ intensity and length.
Not usually a big fan of SB, but this was quite nice. Good depth and complexity and a crispy freshness. And only 180SEK.
