Grenache, Mazuelo (Carignan), Cab. Sauvignon. Rich fruity nose with just a bit of wood like a nice southern Rhone. Entry has a good weight this has a nice linear profile with a full center leading to a spicy and balsamic finish. Just the slightest bitterness on the finish, but really all well placed across this profile. A rich, extracted wine that could pass for a southern Rhone or a rich Languedoc.

Excellent. Full body, intense, with lots of dark fruit on the nose and palate. Finish is long, leaving the fruity flavors in your mouth for a while. Not very tannic.

The wine is clear and bright with a deep ruby colour.
The nose is clean and developing, showing medium(+) intensity aromas of dark fruit (ripe dark plums, dark cherries), oak (cedar, cocoa, vanilla) and bottle ageing (truffles).
The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium(-) acidity. It has high coarse tannins and a high warm alcohol. It has a full body and pronounced intensity flavours of dark fruit (ripe dark plums, dark cherries), oak (cedar, cocoa, vanilla) and bottle ageing (truffles). The finish is long.
It is a very good quality wine. It has a lingering finish and a quite remarkable fruit concentration, it also shows some complexity provided by oak and bottle ageing. However it lacks some acidity to balance the warm alcohol, and the tannins could be more polished.
Can drink now, but it has enough tannic structure and fruit concentration to develop more tertiary aromas over the next 3-5 years.
