Pear, elderberry blossom, lime and a touch of eucalyptus. Pure and medium intense. White and yellow fruit on the palate, nicely balanced acids and a mineral smoky touch. Medium body with an exotic touch. Small notes of bitter at the finish. This is a convincing example of the potential of dry furmint, a nice combination of delicate fruit, smokiness, an exotic note and great acids.

This is a solid, satisfying, confidently made wine with nice Furmint typicity and a good balance between drinkability and richness, finding a good middle ground.
The price of 5 EUR makes this a mighty QPR player as usually it is more the 8-10 EUR region one has to pay for this kind of quality.

After good experiences with older vintages I already expected a good wine but even so, this wine outperformed. This is a wine with enough seriousity and meat on the bone, yet packed of fruit and well drinkable. Very good balances aswell.
Outstanding QPR at 6 EUR; and I really think this could and should be sold more in Europe as this is a quality which one tends to pay generally about double that price for in case of e.g. German or French white wines.
