Very pleasant, very different...it's a complex wine, not in the traditional sense of unfolding aromas and tastes. Rather, it has a multifaceted structure, from fruity to chalky to a pulpy mouthfeel. It's as if someone threw five bottles into one...and, I guess, with the multitude of varietals here, that isn't far from the reality. If you're in the mood for something different/new in your wine experience, this is a terrific option.

Fresh, lively, and expressive; with a frizzante spritz that caught me off guard but is apparently intended. That fizz faded slowly over the course of the evening and almost disappeared by the next day. 5 different old-vines grapes with the largest % going to Niellucciu (Sangiovese) make up a deceptively deep flavor profile who’s terroir is hard to pin down. Lovely red and blackberry fruit with a little tug of skin tannin, garrigue, a martini olive, and nice stony minerality from the soils—and best of all a long finish! What a wonderful and competent dinner table wine.
optional food note: with it’s depth and pronounced acidity, even at a listed 12.5% it handled a simple grass fed ny strip without blinking.

this wows me, the light fizz takes rustic French red wine drinking to another level altogether, take the energy from a bottle of Beaujolais, the purity of terroir from a Rhone wine, and the clean focus from something out of Alto Adige, and mix those qualities together, along with the character of Clos Reginu, this is distinct and refreshing, perfect with BBQ chicken, so versatile towards food with it's dry personality and bright character, what a great find at this price point, sign me up for a case

Interesting wine. Light body big flavour and maybe a slight touch of fizz that fades. Fig, red plum, apple, strawberry; decent wine for provencal snacks and general quaffing.
